Smart Group contract Oxygen Events to provide and install the complete production package for turning Freemasons Hall into a truly stunning party venue that is available for Christmas to clients to rent for their office Christmas party.

THE BRIEF
To build a temporary flooring system over the whole of the Freemasons Hall Grand Temple @ 6ft high. This structure needs to be able to accommodate 100tons of static load and 300tons of live load. – Yes you heard us right 300 tons of live load weight!
Due to the nature of the building being Grade 1 Listed non of the chairs can be removed making this install one for the books… and the head scratching! Event Hire Professionals also supported Oxygen with, bars, draping, set and dance floors.
THE SOLUTION
There aren’t many staging systems that can be installed and braced that have the capacity for the intended purpose. – So we spent 2 days in the venue measuring and checking how we could do this within the parameters. – We created a very specific staging and brace plan and had it all certified before commencing the build.
